Hello! Happy May! We have now entered Summer as it reached near 100 degrees in Tucson last week. They said this will be a very warm season as we are already hitting these high temps. Whoohoo! :0)
Well, big news for us is that we are going to be moving at the end of June to an apartment. The decision was two-fold but we can see God's hand guiding us through this process. First we have had trouble w/ our AC when we turned it on this summer it caused me to have allergic reactions. It had a really musty smell so we are thinking some mold or mildew collected on the coils. We tried 3 times to call our renters and explain to them the situation and to request a AC repairman and they refused to send someone out. We even offerred to pay for the visit. It's been SO hot in our house and I think at one time our thermostat read 87 degrees. So w/ that, along w/ us knowing that we will have to be paying very expensive medical costs in the near future for my treatment, we have decided to downsize to an apartment. It is probably the wisest decision for us financially even though we will be sad to move from our beautiful rental house. Plus it was pretty obvious that God wanted us to move in that direction as living w/out AC in 113 degree weather is really not an option. Heat makes Lyme Disease symptoms really flare-up.
So, we are going to be on the move again, lol. I think that is almost every year since we got married. Brian will role his eyes once he reads this, LOL. Good thing is, we have got it down to pretty much of a science. :) Our new apartment will be cozy, but nice. It is a great complex at the base of our mountain range in the foothills. We were so blessed to get an amazing price because of the economy right now and also because Brian works across the street we got a 5% discount. Whoohoo! Only downside is that Toby (our little puppy) won't be able to be the "white bullet". That is what we call him when he zooms around the room at top speed to get his energy out. However, I am sure he will find a way. He is a creative little guy. lol
So our immediate prayer requests would be that we could somehow get the AC to work in the next six weeks before we move (so we don't boil to death) and that I will not have any problems at our new apartment and that the move will go smoothly.
Well, I know you will be shocked but that is the end of my post today. I told you someday I would write a short blog update! Ha!
We hope everyone is having a wonderful May and wish you all a great Summer!
Blessings!
